Candidates are to arrive at the test centre 15 minutes prior to the start of the test. Candidates must wear a face mask before entering the building. You must bring your valid signed GB (or Northern Ireland) photo card driving licence. Northern Ireland licence holders testing in GB must present both their photo card licence and paper counterpart. Failure to do so will result in the candidate being unable to sit the test and forfeiting the fee.
Cancelling Test - To change or cancel your booking, you must give at least FIVE clear working days notice before your test date to avoid losing your test fee.

You'll receive a practical driving test application booking reference number within 24 HOURS of making your payment. Please check your spam folders before contacting LIDT. Come with an instructor’s car or your own car.
Arrive at the test centre 5 minutes before the appointment.

You accept that our appointment as your booking agent authorises LIDT to act solely as the full legal representative of YOU, the student as far as the DVSA and DVLA are concerned. LIDT is responsible for booking/swapping/cancelling test appointments on your behalf. Fast track test booking admin fee is non-refundable/non-transferable.
LIDT will not be liable for fast tracking your driving test if the appointment is rescheduled to a later date by the DVSA due to bad weather or the examiner not available. The DVSA will email you if your test is rescheduled. LIDT will not be held responsible if someone affiliated with you reschedules your test without your authorisation. To prevent this from occurring, we strongly recommend that you call the DVSA on 0300 200 1122 and request a password to be placed on your booking. This will prevent any unauthorised changes to your test date from being made.
CANCELLING YOUR PRACTICAL DRIVING TEST
You cannot cancel a test appointment after the "last date to cancel'' shown on your test confirmation. Doing so will result in you losing the full booking fee. If you cancel your test before the last date to cancel without informing LIDT, you will receive a refund of the booking fee only. To request a cancellation, you must email us at least one working day before the last date to cancel. A cancellation fee of £20 + VAT + transaction fee will be charged, and the remaining booking fee will be refunded to the original payment card.
CHANGING YOUR PRACTICAL DRIVING TEST
The DVSA will not allow test appointments to be changed after the "last date to cancel" shown on your confirmation. The candidate can make changes to their practical test at https://www.gov.uk/change-driving-test
LIDT will not be responsible for making additional changes to the test appointment if the candidate alters their original test date.
Candidates who have not yet made any changes to their test can request LIDT to reschedule their test appointment. An administration fee of £20 + VAT + transaction fee will be charged for this service. LIDT can only reschedule existing bookings to slots available on our website https://lidt.co.uk/fast-track-booking
If you would like to reschedule your test, visit our website and choose a new test date, time, and location that suits you. If you have already made a booking with LIDT, select the option "I have existing booking with LIDT" and complete the booking form. After you have submitted the form and made the payment, our admin team will send you an email confirmation of your new test appointment the following working day.
Call 0300 200 1122 if there's fog, ice, snow, flooding, or high winds on the day of your test. You'll be told whether your test will go ahead or not.
