LIDT posts the centre, date and time in your WhatsApp group immediately.

You act

Log into GOV.UK straight away using your own details and search for the slot.

You book

Complete the booking yourself. The faster you act, the better your chance.

We cannot reserve or hold the slot for you. The booking is entirely yours to make. If you do not see the slot straight away, keep searching for at least 10 minutes - there is sometimes a short delay when slots are released on the DVSA system. Every member sees the alert at the same time, so competition is extremely high.

Swap matching and available dates

If you have a test booked and are looking to swap, or if you are looking for a specific date or centre, message the group admin and we will post on your behalf. Only admins are permitted to post in the group.

By joining a group you confirm you are a provisional licence holder actively seeking a driving test slot. LIDT is not responsible for slot availability at the time you search. You are responsible for ensuring any change you make complies with DVSA rules including the 3 nearest centres restriction and your remaining change allowance.
